Lofoten tur

Rachel and I took the ferry from Hamaroey Tuesday morning and arrived in Stamsund Vandrerhjem in the evening via Svolvaer. We spent two nights in a room on a fishing pier. I took advantage of moments of nice weather and did ink drawings and watercolors.

Our Stamsund hostel is the large yellow-orange building on the right side of the pier.

We enjoyed a  photo safari and met a wide variety of artists. We met Scott Thoe, an american who has been painting and living in Lofoten for 30 years. He was originally from Minnesota!
